Dom Rui is an award-winning Sydney and Adelaide based creative that goes by the name Refracting Light.   He uses a variety of media including 35mm and 120 film, digital, and video to capture your moments.   His main focus is raw, natural-style portrait photography.


Prior to establishing himself as a portrait photographer, he travelled the globe for 6 years as a travel and street photographer and videographer. 

In his spare time he buys, disassembles, fixes, and sells vintage cameras and lenses.
